New Delhi, May 9 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 45 paise to Rs 234.25 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June increased 45 paise or 0.19 per cent to Rs 234.25 per kg in 688 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market. PTI DR BAL BAL
