Mumbai, Jul 1 (PTI) Agri start-up Eeki on Tuesday said it has raised USD 7 million (around Rs 60 crore) from venture fund Sixth Sense Ventures to expand farm operations across India and strengthen research and development (R&D) activities.
Funds will be used for nationwide scale-up with aeroponic innovation to rapidly expand farm operations, strengthen R&D, and scale up the deployment of its advanced Gen 3 Growing Chambers, the company said in a statement.
Over the last year, Eeki has raised more than USD 10 million from various investors.
"Over 30 per cent of our team is focused on improving core tech to maximise yield with minimal resources. This raise helps us perfect more crops across zones.
