Gold futures decline on muted demand

New Delhi, Jun 18 (PTI) Gold prices on Wednesday declined Rs 89 to Rs 99,452 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for August delivery traded lower by Rs 89 or 0.09 per cent at Rs 99,452 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14,943 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

In the international markets, gold futures fell 0.07 per cent to USD 3,386.17 per ounce in New York. PTI DR ANU ANU
