Gold futures rise Rs 196 to Rs 1,00,034/10g

New Delhi, Aug 18 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday rose Rs 196 to Rs 1,00,034 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 196 or 0.2 per cent at Rs 1,00,034 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,789 lots.

Globally, Comex gold futures for December delivery rose 0.58 per cent to USD 3,355.6400 per ounce in New York. PTI DR DR ANU ANU
