New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Guar seed prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 23 to Rs 5,533 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for February delivery climbed by Rs 23 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 5,533 per quintal with an open interest of 61,665 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors despite a fall in spot prices supported guar seed prices in futures trade. PTI DR HVA
