MAIT elects Canon's Amrit Jiwan as President

New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) MAIT has elected Canon General Counsel and Senior Director Amrit Jiwan as its new president, the IT, telecom and electronics hardware industry body said on Monday.

The industry body at its 41st annual general meeting, elected Netweb Technologies, Chairman and Managing Director Sanjay Lodha and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Country Head -- Strategy and Growth, Bhawna Agarwal, as vice-presidents.

"In this AGM, the newly formed governing council members for 2024-26 elected Amrit Jiwan, general counsel and senior director, company secretary, Canon India Pvt Ltd, as its president," Mait said in a statement.

Jiwan takes over the reins from Dell International Services India Vice-President and MD-CSB, Rajkumar Rishi, who will continue as President Emeritus. PTI PRS TRB
