Sampre Nutritions plans strategic fundraise to drive expansion

Mumbai, Jun 21 (PTI) Sampre Nutritions on Saturday said its board will consider a proposal to raise funds for supporting its ongoing expansion and diversification efforts.

The board of directors is likely to hold a meeting in the near future to consider and approve plans for raising funds through the issuance of eligible securities, the company said in a statement without disclosing financial details.

The board will also decide on holding a shareholders' meeting to seek their approval for the plans, it added.

The aim is to strengthen the company's financial structure and support its ongoing expansion and diversification efforts, Sampre Nutritions said.

"The company is exploring ways to expand operations, extend market penetration, and invest in long-term growth," Sampre said in the statement.

Telangana-based Sampre Nutritions is engaged in manufacturing a range of confectionery, eclairs, candies, lollipops, toffees, powder and centre-filled products. The company also produces products for multinational companies which include Mondelez India, Perfetti Van Melle, and Nestle. PTI IAS TRB
