Silver futures jump Rs 504 to Rs 96,969/ kg

New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday jumped Rs 504 to Rs 96,969 per kilogram as participants increased their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 504 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 96,969 per kg in a business turnover of 18,612 lots.

Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in silver prices, analysts said.

Globally, silver was trading 0.28 per cent higher at USD 32.19 per ounce in New York. PTI DR SHW
