8 girls of Chandigarh University attempt suicide after their obscene videos go viral

Chandigarh: Chandigarh University witnessed violent protests in the early hours of Sunday after eight students of the girls hostel attempted suicide. 

A girl student made videos of 60 other girls when they were taking baths and sent them to a man who made those videos viral. 

The accused girl has been arrested.

The accused was making videos of other girls when they were taking baths for a long time and sending those videos to a man. 

After the man uploaded those videos oon internet, eight girls attempted suicide. All of the students were admitted to different hospitals.

Protesting students accused the university management of suppressing the matter after the management did not take any action following their complaints.

The angry mob of the students protested throughout the night in the university campus.

The students torched police vehicles after that police charged batons on the students.
