Harshvardhan Rane's next film with Omung Kumar is titled 'Silaa', Karanveer to play antagonist

New Delhi: Omung Kumar's upcoming directorial starring Harshvardhan Rane is titled "Silaa", the makers announced on Monday.

Billed as a romantic-action drama, the film will also feature Sadia Khateeb in the lead role and Karanveer Mehra in the antagonist's role.

Rane uploaded the first look poster of the film on his Instagram handle. He said the shooting will begin on Tuesday.

Besides "Silaa", Rane will star in "Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat" alongside Sonam Bajwa. The film is slated to release in theatres on October 2.

He will also feature in "Sanam Teri Kasam 2", a sequel to his 2016 film, which was re-released earlier this year.

Khateeb's latest work is "The Diplomat", co-starring with John Abraham. She also has an upcoming project alongside Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma, tentatively titled "Dadi Ki Shaadi".
