Naatu Naatu music director MM Keeravaani’s speech at Golden Globes

New Delhi: RRR’s Telugu track “Naatu Naatu”, composed by veteran music director MM Keeravaani and penned by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, hit the Golden Globe for the best original song–motion picture.

Keeravaani collected the coveted trophy and delivered a moving and emotional acceptance speech on the occasion.

“I’m very much overwhelmed with this great moment happening,” he said from the stage.

Keeravaani shared his excitement with his wife sitting among the audience.

Keeravaani said that he wanted to break the tradition of saying ‘this award does not belong to me but to others’ but he chose to go with the tradition. He dedicated the award to RRR’s Director SS Rajamouli for his vision and constant trust. 

Keeravaani then thanked, ‘in order of priority’, the choreographer of the song Prem Rakshith, lyricists Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, and the actors Ram Charan and Junior NT Rama Rao (Jr, NTR).
