Production on Vishal Bhardwaj's series 'Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley' complete

Mumbai: Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj on Tuesday said he has finished filming for his upcoming web series “Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley”.

The SonyLIV original show is the official adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel “The Sittaford Mystery”. The project marks the debut of Bhardwaj, known for films such as “Maqbool”, “Omkara”, and “Kaminey”, into long-format storytelling.

Bhardwaj took to his official Instagram account to share the update.

"Charlie Chopra wrapped!! Unbelievable!!! We did it :) (sic)" he wrote alongside the photo with the cast and crew of “Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley”.

Set in the snow-capped mountains of Himachal Pradesh, the series will follow the journey of Charlie Chopra and her quest to uncover a deep mystery.

It stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Lara Dutta, Priyanshu Painyuli, Naseeruddin Shah, Neena Gupta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Gulshan Grover, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Paoli Dam, among others.

“Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley” is backed by Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures along with Priti Shahani’s Tusk Tale Films in association with Agatha Christie Limited.

Bhardwaj will also serve as co-screenwriter, alongside Anjum Rajabali and Jyotsna Hariharan.

James Prichard, Basi Akpabio and Leo Dezoysa will serve as executive producers on the show on behalf of Agatha Christie Limited.
