New Delhi, Jul 6 (PTI) Bollywood actor Zareen Khan walked down memory lane and shared a throwback video of herself taking an autograph from Katrina Kaif during the premiere of "Race".

Zareen penned a lengthy note alongside the video and she didn't think she would be a part of the film industry later. The video shows Zareen walking towards Katrina, who signs an autograph for her.

"Oh my Goddd! Came across this video and the memory is still so fresh. I clearly remember this moment … it's from the premiere of the movie 'RACE'. Thanks to a friend who got us passes, we were able to experience the magic firsthand. At that point, I was just a wide-eyed fan, never imagining I'd one day be a part of the film industry," the 38-year-old actor wrote in the caption.

"But Look at how happy I am in this video, a total fangirl grinning from ear to ear, getting an autograph from the woman I thought was and is breathtakingly beautiful," she added.

Directed by Abbas Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla "Race" released in 2008. It was the first installment of the franchise, which later had additions "Race 2" and "Race 3", released in 2013 and 2018 respectively.

"Race" also featured Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu and Akshaye Khanna in the lead roles.

Zareen made her acting debut in 2010 with "Veer" opposite Salman Khan. The film was directed by Anil Sharma. She later went on to star in films such as "Housefull 2", "Hate Story 3" and Punjabi film "Jatt James Bond". PTI ATR ATR ATR
