PM Modi at G20 summit
New Delhi: At a Working Session on food and energy security of the G20 summit taking place in Bali, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stressed upon the path of “ceasefire and diplomacy” amid the ongoing Russia Ukraine conflict.
“I have repeatedly said we have to find a way to return to the path of ceasefire & diplomacy in Ukraine. Over the past century, World War II wreaked havoc in the world. After that leaders of that time made a serious effort to take the path of peace. Now it's our turn,” PM Modi said referring to Russia Ukraine war.
“Onus of creating a new world order for post-Covid lies on our shoulders and the need of the hour is to show concrete and collective resolve to ensure peace, harmony and security. I am confident that when G20 meets in the holy land of Buddha and Gandhi, we'll agree to convey a strong message of peace to the world,” he added.
