Peshawar, Jul 10 (PTI) At least four people were killed in a gunfight that ensued after a verbal altercation between two rival groups in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan on Thursday.
A dispute between two groups escalated into a deadly exchange of gunfire, resulting in multiple fatalities in Garhi Kapora of Mardan district in the province, according to DSP Shaikh Maltoon Town in the district, about 65 kilometre southwest of Peshawar.
The exact cause behind the violent clash remains unknown at this stage, the DSP said.
Meanwhile, five people were killed in a fatal road accident on Chashma Road, Dera Ismail Khan district when a heavy troller collided head-on with a car.
The five individuals, all travelling in the car, died on the spot, police said. PTI AYZ NPK NPK
