Suicide bomber blows self during Friday prayers in Guzargah Mosque; Mawlawi Mujeeb Ansari among 12 killed

New Delhi: Local authorities in Afghanistan’s Herat have confirmed that Maulvi Mujib al-Rahman Ansari (Mawlawi Mujeeb Ansari) died in an explosion inside Guzargah Mosque, tweeted Tolo News. 

Herat governor's spokesman said that the explosion was caused by a suicide attack. The suicide bomber blew himself during Friday prayers inside the mosque.

So far, the exact number of casualties in this blast is not clear.

Ansari, a scholar and member of IEA, was one of the very prominent religious Taliban associated leader.
