A bizarre incident took place in Chile, where a man was paid 286 times his salary in May by accident.

When the incident got noticed, the company reached out to the employee and addressed the error.The employee promised he would visit the bank and return the excess amount paid to him to his boss.
However, when the company tried to get in touch with him as they didn't get the amount back from the employee after he promised repayment, the employee soon submitted his resignation.
The man worked at one of the largest cold cuts producers inChile, according to Media Reports.
