A woman from North Carolina printed her resume on the cake and sent it to athleisure wear giant Nike.

In a LinkedIn post shared by a woman named Karly Pavlinac Blackburn, from North Carolina printed out her resume on the cake in order to stand out from other applicants.

She wrote, " A couple of weeks ago I sent my resume on a cake to Nike." A proper explanation as to how and why she came up with this new idea was given in the post she shared.

"They are not currently hiring for any positions on that team, but I wanted to find out some way for the team to know who I was. what better way than to send out a cake to a big party," she added.

Blackburn was determined to get a job at Nike and she got a suggestion from a friend to print her resume put it on a cake and send it to Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.

This LinkedIn post of Blackburn is gaining a lot of attention on social media. Netizens are divided on their opinion, while some people are impressed by her and are complimenting her for her original idea, some can't stop mocking her. Users are mocking her by posting questions like "Chocolate cake or Yellow?" while one user wrote, "This is the way, LOL."
