Bengaluru, June 24 (PTI) In a significant operation at Kadugodi Plantation in Bengaluru East Taluk, officials have reclaimed 120 acres of encroached forest land worth Rs 4,000 crore, Karnataka Minister for Forests, Ecology, and Environment Eshwar Khandre said on Tuesday.
The operation has been underway since Monday, he added.

With today’s recovery, the total forest land reclaimed within Bengaluru in the last two years has reached an impressive 248 acres—"reaffirming our commitment to a greener, healthier city for future generations," he added. PTI KSU SSK
