17-year-old girl found murdered at home

Thane, Sep 20 (PTI) A 17-year-old girl was found murdered at her home in Taloja Phase-2 area of the district, police said on Saturday.

The incident took place on Friday when her mother had gone out for some work and she was alone, said an official.

The girl was hit on the head and stabbed in the neck by the unidentified assailant.

A case of murder has been registered under BNS Section 103(1), the official said. PTI COR KRK
