2 boys die after being hit by passenger train in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela, Sep 24 (PTI) Two boys died when they were hit by a passenger train near Basanti Colony in Odisha’s Rourkela, police said on Wednesday.

The incident took place around 2.30 am when they were crossing the railway track, they said.

The deceased were identified as brothers Ranjan Patra (17) and Debendra Patra (15).

The bodies were recovered from the railway track, and have been sent for postmortem, a police officer said. PTI CORR AAM RBT
