2 drug smugglers apprehended in Amritsar

Chandigarh, Sep 24 (PTI) Two drug smugglers were apprehended with 365 grams of heroin by the Border Security Force in a joint operation with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Amritsar, a BSF official said on Wednesday.

The alleged smugglers, residents of Chawinda Khurd village in Amritsar, were nabbed on Tuesday night near Khasa market, he said.

The accused are in the custody of the NCB for further investigation, he added. PTI CHS RHL
