New Delhi, Jun 18 (PTI) Twenty-two stranded personnel, including women, have been rescued from a flooded site in Gujarat, the Indian Coast Guard said on Wednesday.
The ICG said this in a post on X and also shared some photos.
"Swift & courageous Ops. @IndiaCoastGuard Station #Pipavav, in coordination with Marine Police, rescued 22 stranded personnel including women from a flooded #Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board #GWSSB site near #Victor village, #Amreli," it said.
"Amid tough weather & low visibility, #ICG reaffirmed its motto: We Protect. #HADR #DisasterRelief #AlwaysReady #AidtoCivilAuthorities," it added in the post. PTI KND RHL
