Medininagar (Jharkhand), Jul 14 (PTI) At least five people, including two women, were injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute in Jharkhand's Palamu district, police said on Monday.
The incident took place at Mahudand village in Hussainabad police station area on Sunday evening.
Hussainabad police station in-charge Sonu Kumar Choudhary said the injured were immediately taken to a hospital.
"All the injured were referred to Medininagar Sadar Hospital on Monday for better treatment," he said.
The officer said neither of the two groups has submitted a written complaint in connection with the clash so far.
He added that the main reason behind the clash appeared to be an old rivalry over a piece of land.
The police have begun an investigation into the case, Choudhary said. PTI CORR SAN ACD
