New Delhi, Jul 14 (PTI) The Army showcased how disruptive technologies can enhance the agility, lethality and survivability of infantry formations in deep offensive operations conducted by the strike corps, through a demonstration that was held in Meerut on Monday, a senior official said.

Titled 'Prachand Shakti', it was conducted by the Army's Charging RAM Division at the Kharga Corps Field Training Area, he said.

It highlighted the evolving face of modern warfare where UAVs, AI-driven systems, loitering munitions, and autonomous platforms are redefining battlefield dynamics, officials said.

"The demonstration aimed to showcase how disruptive technologies can enhance the agility, lethality, and survivability of infantry formations in deep offensive operations conducted by strike corps," he said.

The demo was part of the Army's broader transformation initiative under the 'Year of Tech Absorption', focusing on the integration of indigenous and cutting-edge solutions from civil innovators into operational tasks.

This initiative not only reflects the Army's commitment to technological advancement but also reinforces its vision of self-reliance and future-readiness in an evolving threat environment, the official added. PTI KND RHL
