Itanagar, Jul 10 (PTI) Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Tesam Pongte on Thursday sought collective efforts from all to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
He said Arunachal Pradesh is full of talented youth across fields, and what they primarily require is a proper platform to showcase their abilities.
Speaking after inaugurating a workshop, 'Let's Speak Arunachal' at Boum Kakir Mission School, Doimukh, in Papum Pare district, Pongte urged the students to make the most of the workshop to enhance their knowledge and skills.
"Our children are excelling in every field - be it sports, cinema, singing, or dancing - at the national level," he said, adding that the state government under Chief Minister Pema Khandu is making every possible effort to support and uplift the youth.
The Speaker also advised the teachers to guide and support the students according to their strengths and interests.
Thanking the management of the school for organising the event, Pongte said the initiative, being launched on the occasion of Guru Purnima, is a perfect day to begin such endeavours.
The Speaker cited the inspiring participation of Arunachalee youth during the Youth Parliament, both at the state and the national level, as a shining example.
Pongte lauded the dedication and sincerity shown by the girl students.
He also praised 'Let's Talk Arunachal' founder and chairperson Porsum Ori for her vision and initiatives in organising the workshop to nurture public speaking and civic awareness among the youth. PTI CORR NN
