New Delhi: An unverified viral video, allegedly from an event to inaugurate the Delhi campus of Guru Govind Singh Indra Prastha University, showed Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal picking up a fight with the organisers for speaking on stage.
In the video, Kejriwal could be heard saying "Why was I called if I was not supposed to be heard? Why did you call me only to conclude?"
Kejriwal apparently lost his cool after he was interrupted by the organisers after staking a claim of making the campus by approving a fund of Rs 41 crore.
Before Kejriwal, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena inaugurated the East Delhi Campus of GGSIP University.
"Built at a cost of Rs 387 crore, primarily through self-financing by GGSIPU (Rs 346 crore) and Rs 41 crore from Govt, the project was initiated in 2013 and foundation stone was laid in Dec 2014 by the then Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani," said Saxena.
