Assailants on motorbike open fire on man in Mumbai's Chembur area

Mumbai: A 50-year-old man was injured after two unidentified persons on a motorbike shot him at Diamond Garden signal in Chembur area of the city on Wednesday evening, police said.

Sadruddin Khan, the victim, was rushed to the nearby Zen Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, said an official of Chembur police station.

Khan was on his way to Belapur in Navi Mumbai where he lives, the official said, adding that probe was underway.
