Assam: Drugs worth Rs 4 crore seized, 3 arrested

Diphu, Nov 20 (PTI) Drugs worth Rs 4 crore were seized and three persons arrested in Assam's Karbi Anglong district on Thursday, police said.

A vehicle, coming from neighbouring Nagaland, was intercepted at Dilai during routine patrolling by the police.

During a search of the vehicle, 1.98 kg of morphine was found hidden in secret compartments of the vehicle, a police officer said.

Necessary legal action has been initiated in this connection, he added. PTI DG RBT
