Bhagwat to inaugurate Rashtriya Sewa Bharti's 3-day conclave in Jaipur

Jaipur: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will deliver the inaugural speech at Rashtriya Sewa Bharti's three-day 'Sewa Sangam' conclave beginning here Friday.

The Rashtriya Sewa Bharti is a not-for-profit organisation that follows the ideological pursuit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Speaking at a press conference, Renu Pathak, national general secretary, Rashtriya Sewa Bharti noted that more than 4,000 representatives of voluntary service organisations will attend the event from April 7 to 9.

The theme of the event is “Self-reliant and Prosperous India”. "Around 4,000 representatives of more than 800 voluntary service organisations working in the field of social development will participate in this third Mahasangam of Seva Bharti," Pathak said.  She added that all participants will exchange their experiences on rural development, women's self-reliance, environment, cow service, organic farming and other topics and decide the future strategy.

A day ahead of the event, an exhibition was inaugurated at Keshav Vidyapeeth in Jamdoli area near here on Thursday.
