Bihar: 70-year-old woman found dead in house in Patna

Patna, Jul 19 (PTI) A 70-year-old woman was found dead in her house in Patna’s Adarsh Nagar locality on Saturday, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Shanti.

“Police recovered her body from a room of her residence and sent it for post-mortem examination. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder. The exact cause of the incident is not known yet,” Patna City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh told reporters.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the killers knew the woman. Details will be known after a thorough probe, he added. PTI PKD RBT
