BSF jawan injured in accidental firing in JK

Srinagar, Sep 11 (PTI) A BSF jawan was injured in accidental firing at an artillery battalion of the force in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.

The jawan was identified as Sandeep Kumar, they said.

Kumar sustained an injury in his palm at the artillery battalion in the Nowgam area due to accidental firing. He was rushed to a hospital in Baramulla, where his condition is stated to be stable, the officials said. PTI MIJ DIV DIV
