Canadian high commissioner takes ride on Kolkata Metro

Kolkata, Dec 11 (PTI) Canada's High Commissioner to India Chris Cooter on Thursday took a ride on the Kolkata Metro.

Accompanied by Kolkata Metro Railway Corporation MD Anuj Mittal, Cooter travelled from Howrah to Esplanade on the Green Line.

"He was visibly pleased. Metro officials briefed him about the methods used in the construction of the corridor, specifically the section under the Hooghly river," a spokesperson said. PTI SUS SOM
