Case registered against YouTuber for 'insulting' Hindu deities

Hyderabad, Dec 31 (PTI) A case was registered here against YouTuber Anvesh over his alleged remarks "insulting" Hindu deities, police said on Tuesday.

Actress and BJP leader Karate Kalyani lodged a complaint at Panjagutta police station, accusing Anvesh, popularly known as Prapancha Yatrikudu, of "insulting" Hindu gods.

Based on the complaint, a case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), a police official said. PTI VVK GDK VVK SSK
