CM Siddaramaiah leaves for Bihar to take part in 'Vote Adhikar Rally'

Bengaluru, Aug 29 (PTI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday left for Bihar to take part in Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Adhikar Rally’, his office said in a statement.

The chief minister landed at Gorakhpur airport in Uttar Pradesh in the morning and travelled by road to Gopalganj in Bihar.

"Congress leaders and workers in Uttar Pradesh welcomed the chief minister at the airport," the statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.

Siddaramaiah is accompanied by around 20 leaders, including ministers K J George, G Parameshwara, B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan, Satish Jarkiholi, K Sudhakar, political secretary Naseer Ahmed, legal adviser Ponnanna, Legislative Council chief whip Saleem Ahmed, MLCs B K Hariprasad and the Chief Minister's son Yathindra Siddaramaiah.

They will participate in the ongoing 'Vote Adhikar Rally' in Bihar, the CMO added. PTI GMS GMS KH
