Cop caught taking Rs 50,000 bribe in Rajasthan's Jalore

Jaipur, Oct 8 (PTI) An assistant sub-Inspector was caught taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 in Jalore on Wednesday, the Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) said.

The policeman arrested was ASI Kalyan Singh, posted at the Bagoda Police Station.

According to ACB Additional Director General Smita Srivastava, Singh demanded a bribe of Rs 65,000 from the complainant for not proceeding with a challan.

The ACB caught him red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000. PTI AG ARB VN VN
