Cops bust prostitution racket, rescue three women

Thane, Oct 18 (PTI) Police arrested a man for allegedly facilitating the operation of a flesh trade racket and rescued three women from a hotel, a Thane Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) official said on Saturday.

The women were shifted to a shelter home after they were rescued on Friday afternoon.

The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (PITA). PTI COR NSK
