Court sentences man to life imprisonment for raping minor girl

Shillong, Aug 25 (PTI) A POCSO court here has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for raping a minor girl.

Special Judge (POCSO) court R Rymbai on August 22 sentenced Lovingstar Binan to life imprisonment under the POCSO Act and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him.

The case was registered against Binan for raping the minor girl in 2021. PTI JOP RG
