Delhi double murder: Accused held from Haldwani

New Delhi, Jul 9 (PTI) The Delhi Police has arrested the 25-year-old man accused in the Majnu Ka Tila double murder case, police sources said on Wednesday.

The accused, identified as Nikhil, was held from Haldwani in Uttarakhand, the source said.

After allegedly killing his former 22-year-old live-in partner and a six-month-old toddler, Nikhil had attempted to die by suicide at the crime scene but failed, the police said, adding that he then fled to his hometown.

A police team from Delhi tracked him down and apprehended him.

Efforts are underway to bring him back for further investigation. PTI BM BM MPL MPL
