Elderly couple killed in wall collapse in UP village

Banda (UP), Aug 25 (PTI) An elderly couple died after being buried under the debris when a thatched wall collapsed in a village in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district on Monday afternoon, police said.

The incident happened in Kauhara village under Baberu police station limits, they said.

The deceased have been identified as Ramsharan (75) and his wife Jagdeiya (72), police said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. PTI COR NAV RUK RUK
