Thane, Jun 25 (PTI) A fire broke out in the ICU ward of a private hospital in Maharashtra's Thane city on Wednesday morning, civic officials said.

No one was injured in the "minor" blaze which erupted at 10.37 am in the two-storey hospital located in Rutu Park, Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell chief Yasin Tadvi said.

A ventilator in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) caught fire, the official said, adding that it was not immediately known what triggered the blaze.
