Fire breaks out on roof of hotel in central Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) A fire broke out at the roof of a hotel in central Delhi's Daryaganj, prompting authorities to rush seven fire tenders to the spot, an official of the Delhi Fire Service said.

The blaze started in the old furniture stored on the roof of the four-storey hotel located near Golcha cinema. A call regarding the incident was received at 7.25 pm, he said.

"We rushed seven fire tenders to the spot and the flames were doused by 8.05 pm," the official added. PTI SSJ NB NB
