Gambling racket busted in Ranchi, 18 arrested

Ranchi, Sep 26 (PTI) The police arrested 18 people in connection with an alleged gambling racket operating in a rented house in Ranchi, an officer said on Friday.

After receiving a tip-off, the police raided a house near Anandpuri Chowk under Argora police station limits and made the arrests.

The police recovered Rs 3,43,835 in cash, 14 mobile phones, playing cards, and a two-wheeler form their possession on Thursday, the officer said. PTI RPS RPS NN
