Godown of electrical goods gutted in fire

Thane, Dec 20 (PTI) A fire broke out at a godown of electrical goods in Bhiwandi taluka of Thane district on Saturday morning, officials said.

Nobody was injured in the incident, said Saquib Kharbe, who heads the disaster management cell of the Bhiwandi Nizampur City Municipal Corporation (BNMC).

He said the blaze erupted at the godown situated in Parasnath Compound at 11 AM.

At least two fire engines rushed to the spot and launched firefighting operations. PTI COR NSK
