New Delhi: Former AICC member and senior Congress leader Kishore Kumar Jha stated that the NDA government in Bihar, in forming the religious trust board, did not deem it necessary to include even a single person from the Brahmin community as a member. He called this a major conspiracy and a significant attempt to insult Brahmins, as Brahmins have always played a leading role in protecting religion and religious sites, and in preserving Sanatana culture.

Jha added that this continuous disregard for Brahmins by the NDA government in the country today is a consequence of the Brahmin community's uncritical support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He urged people to now be cautious and reconsider supporting the party in the future.

He highlighted that in Bihar, all classes and castes have their own organisations and separate political parties, which gives them influence in both alliances. However, Brahmins have neither a strong organisation nor a political party. For the past 35 years, every government formed in Bihar has politically marginalised Brahmins, yet the Brahmins of the state have consistently supported the NDA government due to their blind devotion.

The Congress leader said that the NDA only wants Brahmin votes but cannot tolerate Brahmin leadership. He lamented that Brahmins are being disrespected everywhere, but in their blind devotion, they are supporting the NDA and thus destroying their own future.

He alleged that disrespecting Brahmins has become a goal for all parties. In such a situation, he stressed the need for Brahmins across the state to find an alternative political party that transcends caste and religion and talks about the overall development of Bihar. He warned that if they miss this opportunity, the political existence of Brahmins will be wiped out.

Jha concluded by saying, "I strongly object to the notification issued by the Bihar government regarding the Religious Trust Board, and I strongly condemn this notification. I appeal to the Chief Minister of Bihar to end this disrespectful attitude towards Brahmins as soon as possible, otherwise the Chief Minister's programs will be strongly protested throughout the state."
