Jaipur, Jul 5 (PTI) Heavy rain continued lashing parts of Rajasthan with Indargarh in Bundi district logging the highest rainfall of 144 mm in the last 24 hours till 8.30 am on Saturday, the local meteorological department said.
According to Met centre Jaipur, the spell of rain will continue in the state.
The weather office said that Bari in Dholpur recorded 70 mm of rainfall, followed by 50 mm in Jaipur's Fagi, and 30 mm each was logged in Rajsamand's Amet, Alwar's Kathumar and Baran's Kishanganj.
Sedwa in Barmer and Malpura in Tonk also received 30 mm of rain each, the office added.
More than 10 mm rain was recorded at many places of Bikaner, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Dungarpur, Udaipur, Jhunjhunu and Sawai Madhopur.
Rainfall is likely to continue in parts of Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Udaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan for the next three to four days, while heavy to very heavy rains are predicted for some places. PTI AG SHS OZ OZ
