Jaipur, Jun 27 (PTI) Heavy rain was witnessed in parts of Rajasthan on Friday with Sajjangarh in Banswara district in the eastern part of the state recording the highest rainfall of 130 mm, a MeT department spokesperson said.
In the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Friday, 110 mm of rain was recorded each in Jaipur’s Bassi, Banswara’s Sallaopat and Veja in Dungarpur, while Dungarpur’s Sagwara was lashed by 100 mm of rainfall.
Several places across the state recorded 10 to 90 mm of rainfall during this period.
Meanwhile, Jaisalmer lodged the highest maximum temperature in the state at 41.3 degree Celsius, while Churu recorded the highest minimum temperature at 27.8 degree Celsius. PTI AG NB NB
