Important matters heard by the Delhi High Court on January 27, Friday: * HC modified its order granting interim bail to expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar, serving life term for raping a minor in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao in 2017, by asking him to surrender after his daughter's 'tilak' ceremony and then be released again before her marriage.

* The Centre told the HC that American journalist Angad Singh has been blacklisted despite being an OCI cardholder for misrepresenting facts in his application for obtaining a journalistic visa and violating certain norms.

* HC directed the Delhi government to set up a one-stop centre in every district which can be used as a central police station where all crimes against women and children in the town could be registered in compliance with the Supreme Court's 2018 directions.

* HC granted time to a petitioner to implead the Delhi government and the CBSE as parties to a petition challenging certain provisions of the Right to Education Act, 2009 for allegedly being arbitrary and irrational, and seeking introduction of a common syllabus and curriculum for students of classes 1 to 8 across the country.
