New Delhi: Addressing the nation from the historic Red Fort, PM Narendra Modi shared his pain about a perversion prevailing in Indian society and pledged the countrymen to stop insulting women.

A distortion has crept in our conduct and we at times insult women, can we take pledge to get rid of this in our behaviour, asked PM.

Respect for Women is important pillar for India's growth, we need to support our 'Nari Shakti', PM said.
