Justice Revati Mohite Dere sworn in as chief justice of the Meghalaya HC

Shillong, Jan 10 (PTI) Justice Revati Mohite Dere was sworn in as the chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court on Saturday.

Governor CH Vijayashankar administered the oath of office to Justice Dere at a function at the Durbar Hall of the Lok Bhavan in Shillong.

Justice Dere will replace Justice Soumen Sen as the chief justice of the Meghalaya High Court. Justice Sen has been posted to the Kerala High Court.

Justice Dere earlier served as a judge at the Bombay High Court. PTI JOP SOM
